SM15-01 Steel Section Manipulator

Specifically developed for handling and installing OLE masts this powerful manipulator will handle, erect and precisely position any steel section post or mast from 200mm to 650mm.

The SM15-01 Steel Section Manipulator has been designed for the handling, erection and installation of steel section posts and masts onto prepared bases or steel tube piles.

By combining a scissor action grab with telescopic legs the SM15-01 Steel Section Manipulator can grip square and rectangular box section and I-section steel work from 200mm x 200mm to 650mm x 650mm.

A roto-tilt head is incorporated for precision positioning and to align the post with fixing bolts, etc.

A unique pendulum-action safety valve on the adapter head locks the grab when the post is raised to the upright position so that it cannot be released until both the operator and the work supervisor operate separate controls.
