Steel Sleeper Pack Spreaders and Layers

A range of machines for splitting packs or precision sleeper laying. Self propelled and towed models with different load deck sizes and functions.

The Steel Sleeper Laying Machine range from Thomson Engineering Design Ltd use a unique mechansim to lay sleepers fast and accurately.

The standard machine includes a six-pack load deck with integral walking floor to automatically feed packs into the laying mechanism.

Once in the laying mechanism sleepers can be placed at more than one per second.

The standard machine lays the sleepers within 40mm of final position but a precision sleeper laying system can be fitted to reduce the tolerance to within 5mm.

Custom models can be specified to include extra features such as self propelled or self loading versions.
