The Buffalo Rail Trolley is our most popular model sharing all the features of the Bison Trolley but using a steel chassis to lower cost.

Thomson Engineering Design’s Buffalo Track Trolley incorporates a unique regenerative braking system where the weight of the trolley and load is used to apply the brakes.

The heavier the load, the harder the brakes are applied so it can never run away.

Steel wheels with big ball bearings make this the easiest trolley to push and its high tensile steel box section chassis makes it extremely strong and robust.

Easily handled, assembled and removed from the track by two men the Buffalo Track Trolley is the first choice for maintenance crews. It is available in all track gauges.

The standard gauge Bison Track Trolley consists of two chassis sections weighing just 43 kg each and a 7kg handle.
