Laser Mast Base

Eliminate working at height risk when fitting and removing laser equipment from dozers and other machinery with these specially designed hinged bases.

Designed by John Pugh of Balfour Beatty Rail, this simple but effective device eliminates the need for dozer drivers to climb onto the blade to affix the laser equipment..

Releasing two bolts from the rear of the Laser Mast Base allows the laser mast to hinge down for the safe and speedy fitment of the laser receivers.

The clever bit of John’s design is the way that the hinge tightens on its pin as the mast is raised so that vibration and slack are eliminated.

The Thomson Laser Mast Base is available in any colour to match your machine.
