S & C Lifting Beam

Designed to be pre fitted to S+C panels these special beams save significant time in the lifting operation on site.

Handling switch and crossing panels presents a number of challenges as the panel must be prevented from felxing significantly during the lift.

This problem may be overcome by using a long, rigid beam to carry the panel but it can take a long time to chain and balance the panel on chains.

The Thomson Engineering Design S & C Lifting beams overcome this by providing pre arranged fixed lifting points to which the beam chains can be instantly attached.

Adjustable to fit anywhere on the S & C panel and lifting below the foot of the rail these beams are pre fitted to the panels at the panel assembly site.

Great time savings on site are easily achieved using this product.
