Universal Rail Thimble

Our Universal Rail Thimble works with all running rails without the need for adjustment.

The RT210 Universal Rail Thimble supports and manipulates long welded rail using four rollers running under the rail head.

This thimble’s design means that it can work with any flat bottom running rail, without adjustment and without the rail having to be lifted onto blocks to fit the thimble.

A key feature of the RT210 Universal Rail Thimble is the well guarded hydraulic cylinder which prevents damage in transport and rough use.

Prototype units were tested to 20,000kg during development proving the strength and durability of this product.

Soft faced rollers are available for handling coated rail.
